fire-logoRockingham-Kwinana SES are one of the largest and busiest State Emergency Service units in Western Australia.

We provide support to our State and local community throughout the year come rain or shine and at all hours. Our training allows for skill development and enhancement ensuring we have operationally ready teams when required.

Volunteers undertake various roles according to their abilities, interests and what they are comfortable with. The roles of an SES volunteer are diverse and include activities such as:

  • storm damage – temporary repairs
  • map reading and navigation
  • communications
  • operations
  • search and rescue
  • first aid
  • logistics
  • welfare
  • administration
