Barnett Government says no to Karnup train station

13 Nov 2014, by Alannah Wilson in Uncategorized

The Barnett Liberal Government recently said that they will not commit to building a train station at Karnup until 2025.

With rapid development in Baldivis, Secret Harbour, Golden Bay, Singleton and Madora Bay the pressure on existing stations, including Mandurah, Warnbro and Rockingham, will continue to grow. Parking availability, travel time and overflowing trains are already significant issues for most commuters using these stations on a daily basis. These issues will only get worse as the population increases.

We need a train station between Warnbro and Mandurah NOW not it 2025.
