Meet Paul

I’m grateful to be serving as your representative for the Warnbro electorate in State Parliament.

The electorate includes the suburbs of Warnbro, Golden Bay, Port Kennedy, Secret Harbour, Singleton, Karnup and parts of Baldivis.

My passion for community service and exercising leadership developed further when I entered the Royal Australian Navy in 1978 and served proudly for 26 years.

After my military service, my wife Gillian and I started a small business before having the honour of being elected to represent the local area at a by-election in February 2007.

Since 2021, I have been serving as the Minister for Police; Road Safety; Defence Industry; Veterans Issues in Mark McGowan’s Cabinet. In June 2023, I was handed Corrective Services in Premier Roger Cook's new cabinet.

I will always strive to achieve great outcomes and fight for the best interests of our community.
